hey lol

i’m new here, name’s Hidden. decided to stop lurking and just join the chaos already

Maybe try giving it some time before coming back. I don't know how long that's have to be, and you'd have to drop AI. Sorry if I sound mean, trying to give helpful tips.

Chicken Huntin'

What if this is the throwaway account and the true sock puppet is using a proxy? Perhaps this account to throw off the scent, giving the infiltration the distraction it needs to sneak in?

Chicken Huntin'

Hmmm... You're almost correct, bud.

Good luck trying to ban all of my accounts, though, guys. I am going to continuously troll because I think its funny as fuck.

Chicken Huntin'

Great, you're even worse than I thought you were.

Chicken Huntin'

I am indeed. But as soon as I get unbanned, the trolling will stop and I will leave the forums for a long time. I just want my account back.

Chicken Huntin'

I can't speak for the mods, but maybe contrition is the better way? Maybe just promise to step away for a while, work on your stuff. From what I saw in the thread, you didn't seem to realize the stance here on the use of AI for writing, with assistance beyond SPAG stuff. I think it was the doubling down that got you banned. So maybe continuing to double down is not the best way to go about doing this?

Maybe ask to do a penance? Like, say, one hundred genuine human reviews? I don't know I'm just throwing stuff at the wall.

Nope, too late once the threats and alt spamming starts, we don't negotiate with bed-shitting tards.

Chicken Huntin'

Dude this is not going to work. You are not going to outlast the mods. There are multiple past site member who have taken the same strategy made literally hundreds of accounts, over the course of months and years. Every one of them was banned, most of their trolling posts deleted, and all they did was burn any chance of being allowed back to the site on parole. This is not going to work.

By the same token, on a couple occasions, after enough time has passed, banned site members who didn't engage in long-term sockpuppetry have been allowed to return to the site. This is getting less and less possble for you the more bridges you burn, and at this stage may already be too late.

Chicken Huntin'

I don't think he's capable of acting as though he doesn't have a brain disease, on account of his brain disease, but good effort as usual. It's unfortunate he never bothered to read any of your previous advice either so I doubt he'll start now.

If this is the plan you've come up with it probably is a good idea you let AI do the thinking for you.

Chicken Huntin'

I personally don't care. So you used AI. Whatever, just start again and don't cheat. You're not bothering me at all. I think you should probably wait a bit if you're serious about writing here, though. And when you come back, just chill with the AI stuff and just hone your craft.

But yeah I don't think any of these kids understand what trolling is anymore. He was doing a much better job actually pissing a couple of people off before he got banned, should've left it at that and left on a high note.

Did you see what happened with Blister?

Chicken Huntin'

Why is it always the boys who have such a hilariously inflated sense of their own importance? Imagine being such a combination of stupid, useless, and annoying as to earn a ban in the first place, then coming crawling back desperate for the return of an account you never did anything with to begin with, then resorting to threats as if you had any leverage to back them up with.

I mean, obviously YOU couldn't, and neither could I.

Chicken Huntin'

From the boys I'm around in school, I feel like all of them are like that or are super nice and would never find this site.

Chicken Huntin'

The "do as I'll say or I'll keep making accounts!" threat is such a common one in noob crashouts, Sherb and I were just laughing about that yesterday. Making an account is so much more effort than the single click it takes to ban them once they do anything relevant enough to notice. It's such an unequal amount of effort for so little payoff, and just immediately bombs the chance of any other options. Or at best puts them on a multi year waiting list to grow tf up.

Chicken Huntin'

You guys do realize I could just fully insert both barrels of a shotgun up my own ass without even needing lube? I've done it before, and I can do it again.

Chicken Huntin'

And what would that do for you exactly, and also why would anyone care?

Chicken Huntin'

That is distressing and against site policy.

Chicken Huntin'

Chicken Huntin'

So you really thought it was okay to just post my real name like that?

Yes, that’s my actual name. That doesn’t give you the right to blast it to the entire community like it’s some kind of reveal. I didn’t put it out there for a reason. You don’t get to decide when or how my personal information gets shared.

It’s not funny and it's not clever. I know I'm being a complete and disgusting asshole, but don't do that.

Take it down and don’t do it again.

Chicken Huntin'

Wow, is that really your real name? That's so crazy, I had no idea. I had just asked ChatGPT earlier to name the character of a whiny teen boy who liked sticking things up his butt, and here we are. Imagine my surprise at my little injoke bearing fruit this way, and now everyone knows you just a little bit better. Maybe there is something to this outsourcing all creativity to machines idea after all!

Anyway, good talk Jayden, but seriously, don't put shotguns up your ass. That's both gross AND potentially very unsafe!

Chicken Huntin'

Surely this got to be comedy. Mizal, are you secretly making all of these accounts to keep us engaged with the site?

Chicken Huntin'

It's possible to have an account and no name in, I have that, I just put in that it wasn't any of their business. You could try that. They can see everything you have there and your IP as well, but I think you already knew about the IP.

And while this account is not banned, I want to make another thing clear. You guys do get this is all a joke, right? And how, well, I dunno, EASY it is to keep making accounts, and keep getting banned? My brother and I are having a belly-laughing fit at this shit. I don't care about ya'lls policies anymore. I get a kick out of this as much as you guys do.

Chicken Huntin'

But was this the right path? In ten years, will you cringe at this? What would have happened if instead of fighting you just moved on, and tried again with focus on sharing your stories with people, instead of taking a ban for an AI rule violation so seriously?

In the heat of the moment when we feel an injustice has been done upon us, we may not see as clearly as otherwise. Perhaps you should remember why you joined the forum initially, and just let this go?

Disclaimer: I'm not a mod; it's no skin off of my back to ban you, since I have nothing to do with that. I'm just offering an alternative perspective.

Chicken Huntin'

Oh good, your other post you made just three minutes before this seemed so serious too, you almost had me there. Glad to know it's all fun and games after all, you big kidder.

Chicken Huntin'

If you have this much free time to troll and goof off on a random internet site, why not use it to read a nice long book? Go to your nearest library and pick up a big book, the kind of book that you've always wanted to read but put off for one reason or another. Then, every time you feel the urge to troll, read 10-20 pages or at least read until those feelings go away. If you feel like making 80 alts, and instead read 10-20 pages each time you get the urge, you would be done with Lonesome Dove in the same time that you would have instead wasted towards this nonsense.

Chicken Huntin'

I loved 90% of Lonesome Dove, the last few chapters felt like the author was running out of steam though and just rushing for the finish line, it was a little disappointing.

Chicken Huntin'

I agree with you, I feel like at least for me, the beginning and endings were both a slow burn. But of the 2, I liked the beginning more, since the ending after a major incident happens feels almost unnecessary. Like, I feel like the story could have just ended with that event. I am happy they still got to Montana, but somehow, all the days and nights of traveling felt almost wasted especially with how desolate the ending is. And the idea that Gus tells Call many times he doesn't even really want to have a ranch in Montana, he's just a man who prides himself on doing the hard things, and that's a major facet of his identity. It's almost like he has to constantly stay in motion without really knowing why he's in motion. And I feel like Larry McMurtry is too comfortable killing off characters, especially ones I really liked. And I also felt really bad for Newt, like I kept thinking that eventually Newt would have a good ending, but it never really happens. I mean, don't get me wrong, he does get a bunch of cool shit. But the main thing, which was nothing but a conversation, and a formal acknowledgement, never really happens, which is pretty vexing.

I think I did a good enough job of describing my feelings about this book without spoiling too much, while still making it clear what events I'm referring to for people who did read the book. If you haven't already read it, check this one out. It's seriously great. It's an epic journey, and I kind of feel like I could have had more pages of epic cattle driving in storms, Indian fights, and all the cow hands getting together and hanging out.

Also, Jake Spoon is a sticking point for me. I don't quite know how to feel after reading it, but I enjoyed his character because I honestly did not expect his character to do the things he ended up doing when he first rolled up in Lonesome Dove.

I was also kind of surprised how anticlimactic the Pedro Flores cattle rustling adventure ends, but maybe that's kind of the theme that Larry McMurtry was trying to put in this story: Life is harsh, not a fairy tale, and the Wild West is brutal and unforgiving. People die in ways that don't always tie up their story with a neat pretty bow. I guess that's a lesson I need to remember as a reader, since I was rooting for Dish the whole book, and was pretty sad about how things turned out. Still, great novel! The Blue Duck adventure also was surprising, always figured it would come back sometime in the book, but I didn't expect it to come back after everything was over. This thing in particular made me agree with you, Mizal, since I felt like Blue Duck was always going to show up sooner or later, but the way his story arc ends feels pretty unsatisfactory, and almost like Larry didn't want to leave any lose ends after the major event in the story, the penultimate climax, the ending before the actual ending, which still felt a bit of a drop for me, especially after what had happened like a 100 pages before.

But putting all that aside, it's ridiculously awesome, and it's one of those books that's so easy for me to pick up right where I left off. I liked the prose, and the fact that unlike Blood Meridian, it wasn't too complicated, or densely knotted/philosophical. But it has some really good ideas about how to live your life, and it just felt really inspiring, reading about these cowboys doing all this crazy shit to bring cattle from Texas to Montana.

I also thought Larry left an unfinished thread with Po Campo. Like he was introduced as this guy who traversed the entire journey from when he signed on, to not avenging his sons. And I guess July's story arc too, like I kind of expected him, Roscoe, Joe, and Janey to have an ending where they find Jake Spoon. Ellie was a deeply frustrating character but I felt bad for her up to the point where she makes Zwey and her cross to St.Louis. Still, I guess the fact that I'm able to type so much means that this story hit it out of the park, and it truly is one of the best books I've read putting aside all my thoughts on surprises that the book threw at me.

Well referring to your AI buddy as your "brother" is debatedly a *little* better than the people saying they're engaged to ChatGPT, I guess. But seriously, if flooding a niche intfic site with alts that get swatted away like flies is the highlight of your week, I would take some time to evaluate why exactly that is. Preferably off CYS.

Small world indeed, man. Small world indeed.

Chicken Huntin'

If you want to know a weird coincidence, I just called my mom for Mizal, and she's with YOUR mom right now. She says they're both going over to take turns fisting Jayden's mom and she'll have to talk to me later. (Though if you ask me, they'll never be able to retrieve that poor hamster.)

I did leave a message for her to text Mizal the recipe as soon as she had a chance though.

Chicken Huntin'

I have received the recipe, thank you!

However in more worrying news, your mother reports that the hamster (his name is Blinky) might not survive. He was extracted from Rooster's mom with great difficulty, but after more than 48 hours wedged so far up there, Blinky is now in the vet's office in critical condition.

In lieu of thoughts and prayers, please write a review or something. I'll keep you guys updated as the situation develops.

Chicken Huntin'

Yes, Blinky is in good hands! My mom didn't tell you about Nugget though? She probably didn't want to worry any of the kids here, but I can't tell a lie, there's another hamster everyone I know is way more concerned about. Blinky was sent in Saturday night to find him after he vanished up there. (Usually Jayden's mom is more careful than this, but she was in the middle of a special request for a client and there was a whole unforeseen disaster: the wifi went down and Jayden didn't have ChatGPT to tell him how to breathe, she had to perform CPR, there was a lot of shifting around and after that we lost contact with Nugget.)

Let it never be said that Alfonso the Pimp doesn't love all God's little creatures though, I've spared no expense for the rescue. And Jayden's mom to her credit has been extremely cooperative, unlike Jayden himself. She's got her feet up in stirrups right now and I'm about to send in a whole team of firemen with dogs and hoses and ladderrs, and I've got my cousin Vinnie here with his veternarian license from Guatemala in case Nugget needs life saving intervention once he's extracted!

Wish us luck! I'm sharing the bottle of vodka around and I'll post an update later if Rooster doesn't come by with another alt before then.

Chicken Huntin'

I hope you've contacted Gazette reporters to cover these harrowing events. Godspeed to these brave first responders and especially the poor dogs.

It's so wild hearing about this all as it happens! These kinds of stories are exactly why I follow Jayden's mom on Facebook, but I usually don't find out about them until after the fact and only when there's no NDA for legal reasons.

Chicken Huntin'

My childhood hamster nugget?! NOOOOOOOO! Well, he did always have a penchant for sticking himself up anuses.

Well, thank god that Blinky is okay at least. And hey, this'll be another great addition to his memoir.

Chicken Huntin'

To be completely fair to Jayden, I think we need to remember that he is autistic. I've never met him personally the way you guys have, but his mom from what I've heard just has a very difficult time explaining to him why he shouldn't perform sex acts on his brother in the Wendy's parking lot. The difference between what they do (blood relations, no money exchanged), and what she does (strangers, a Biggie Bag and half a cigarette) may be obvious to us, but not everyone processes information the same way.

Chicken Huntin'

I don't think it's autism exactly, though Jayden is undeniably a medical oddity.

You see, his mom is a large woman, and hadn't even realized she was pregnant until her water broke, and...well, I don't want to be indelicate in case any children read this. But the doctors have never been able to explain it, Jayden just somehow was squeezed out of the wrong uh, exit port. Poor kid spent several minutes completely submerged and being assaulted with a plunger before she realized she'd given birth to a beautiful baby boy. There's no way to know even now how much damage this might have caused.

That's Rooster's dog, he got Patches there for his 13th birthday. It's a miracle he's still alive, but the truth is, the dog wasn't BORN that way. I've perhaps already shared one too many stories of animal abuse in this thread though, and this one gets pretty graphic. Let's just say everyone around Rooster is safer now that he can consult an AI on every decision though.
