     A thunderdome is a 1v1 (sometimes there are 3 people) where you write a story under 10k words. It has to be based off of a given prompt, and the community votes which one's better.

Creating descriptions of specific people with only paper, pencil, and dice? (And no, I will not elaborate on the specific people.) I have a lot of time on my hands. I'm actually working on making an entire personality generator, complete with likes, dislikes, hobbies, mild interests, backstory, etc., etc., etc., lol

Generally, I love music.

Sometimes the lines between talents and hobbies blur, but here are a few:
 

• Graphic design (but only on Canva lol)
• Photography
• Debate and mooting
• Extreme sudokus
• Rubik's cube (don't know if this counts tbh)

I play a bit of piano but wouldn't say I'm talented. I'm decent at archery but haven't exactly had much opportunity for practice, so maybe that could be developed into a talent in the future. 

I'm sorry, archery? That sounds amazing! How did you pick that one up?

There's usually someone to teach you in hotel resorts and activity centers (those large indoor spaces with lots of sports and games, not sure if they're as common in the US). My siblings and I liked going to an archery place near a mall when we were younger too. 

     My only experience with archery was when I was... 6 maybe? I was at a massive summer camp with all kinds of activities and there was an archery station, I suck at it though.

That's me with bowling, I've only played a handful of times but my ball lands in the gutter as often as it hits the pins lol.

Lol! I didn't see the image at first, so I went to reply and ask what she said, and then I'm met with a text wall!

Please do note, though, that I was homeschooled until recently, so I have an incredible lack of knowledge regarding what people think is commonplace, and way too much knowledge of very niche topics that no one else knows about, lol

A common affliction around here in recent times. Being held in unvaccinated isolation in a fundie apocalypse bunker for the formative years is one of the few ways kids end up capable of reading anymore. (Though it shares enough symptoms with autism it's sometimes hard to tell.)

I'm really surprised Avo wasn't homeschooled at least for a few years.

I also have autism, so it's even more confusing, lol

Being an Indian means that I have plenty of experience playing carrom and badminton. It was practically the go to activities for family get togethers when I was younger. I also want to get into chess but it just seems kind of stressful to play as a beginner.

Also, I'm pretty good at souls games. Dunno if you'd count that as a talent. XD

Dude, I love carroms. We play it all the time. Do you guys also play carroms while drinking chai? So cool!

Usually it's coffee and whatever sweets we have lying around the house. There's always an excess of those since family get-togethers tend to happen around festive times. :]

Carroms is a game where you have a bunch of coins. White coins, black coins, and red coins. The game is played on a flat board about the size of a small carpet, and four players sit on either side. But you can still play with 2 people. In the classic version me and my family play, you arrange the white coins and black coins in the shape of a lotus flower, then you position the red coin in the middle. So it kind of looks like the center of the flower.

Then, you split up into teams. Like, let's say, me, my mom, my brother, and my dad are playing together. My mom is the best at Carroms, my dad is second best, and me and my brother are ok, but a bit shit compared to them. So we usually pair up with one of them, and then my mom and I may play the white coins while my dad and my brother play the black coins.

So gameplay is pretty simple. You have a giant green striker coin that you flick to hit the other coins into the holes. It's kind of like shuffleboard combined with checkers. You save the red coin for the end once your team has finished scoring all of your coins. The game is over when either side has completed all their coins.

It's really fun, Avo! You should totally try it!

Oversimplifying a little bit, but its basically billiards on a square table with four pockets. The balls are replaced with flat coins and you flick coins with your finger instead of using a billiards stick.

Out of the things I did but never get to talk about nowadays I'm a brown belt in karate with a few medals (never actually won a tournament though) and am consistently in the top 1% of laptimes in various sim and simcade racing games. Oh and I also draw grandma/grandson content.

I'm good at swimming? Does that count? I'm good at identifying lots of things outdoors and have survived many "family bonding" hiking and camping trips.

Otherwise I have no other skills or abilities and am fit for no greater station than rotting behind a cash register, until I get my useless degree that I can burn for warmth after AI takes all the jobs and the economy collapses.
