When are we having a one day storygame contest? 

Who's free on Sunday?

OK (though I was planning to write my 100k word storygame for the other contest on Sunday)

Easy. Take a reserve storygame and change the title, then use that one. Make a new one with the old title to replace it. Or just make a placeholder today in advance.

Saturday at midnight CST I'm making a new thread, it will contain the prompt.
(I'm sending it to Clayfinger a few hours early on account of the severe timezone handicap.)

Entries will be due 11:59pm Sunday CST.

To enter, put the game in Sneak Peek and post a link in the thread.You shouldn't be able to publish them, that is by design. We don't need a flood of these on the front page. Publish them later when they're properly polished.

The winner will be decided over the following week by the community, and possibly a few people from outside it. There will be Google forms provided for feedback and rankings.

RULES:
- Stories must be complete with branching and no dead ends to qualify.
- NO MEME FIC.

I don't think I will even be able to connect to the internet by then, after the international internet is cut off following Trump's attack.

And I don't even know English, and I read the site's stories and topics by translating them into Persian using the Google Translate extension.

And finally, I also have work and a life...

Well damn, try not to die. I admit I haven't been paying the greatest attention to the news with some family and medical things going on. There's always a lot of posturing and threats from this administration though and the last time I read anything on the situation it seemed likely there'd be results from negotiations. I'm seeing now things seemed to have heated up a lot, that is just shitty. :(

Everyone here has work and a life, but yes I guess these are actually the most convincing reasons I've ever seen for not producing a storygame, we'll have to demand future noobs try and come up with better ones if they expect any sympathy.

My exam on Monday couldn't be more poorly timed :(

Assuming this is a semi-regular thing, I would want to join one eventually, mostly just to see what the last minute contest rush feels like. 

I'm in the same boat as Mystic. This Sunday is a bad day for me to participate in this, but I would like to do so sometime in the future.

Sooo... You're telling me the blank storygame I created specifically to publish after I finish it for this very storygame contest is now practically useless? Good to know.

Jokes aside, I'm looking forward to this! Just know that there is a chance this will be the most half-assed and rushed storygame ever, as I might only be able to work on it for an hour, lol.

And what would be the purpose of you publishing a game you only worked on for an hour just to be told it's shit for a length of more words than it contains? The no publishing rule is for your own good, there is no "good effort for the time limit" rating for games once you throw them out there.
