I don't really see how this story is still up, honestly.

It's not much of a game nor a story, and despite the lack of writing, it still manages to misspell a word or two.

The concept "escape a room" has been seen and done many times, but I'm going to say this was one of the most lazy attempts at a "escape the room" game that I've ever seen.

You don't have to put much effort into solving this; the moment you have the item, you don't have to think about what to do with it since just clicking through the previous links will show you one of the blacked out ones is now available.

The lack of a plot made this game even more boring. You have no idea why you're in this room, and therefore no motivation to really click through such an easy puzzle to get out.

Well at the very least, there wasn't any bugs or dead ends?

I am...unsure what to say beyond that. The idea, the very foundation of this game is an interesting one, but without a certain challenge to it nor a plot there's no redeeming qualities.

Well, this was rather short in all honesty. I must admit that I was expecting a bit more of a challenge, but this ended before I could truly get immerse myself in whatever challenge that I was preparing myself for. Lol.

There's not much to say here, since there isn't much in terms in either game or story, as this is a rather easy game that can be finished in a few clicks. I can't help but feel that completing this game would've felt more fulfilling if there was actual challenge involved, but I cannot say that was the case.

Still, there's always a good feeling when it comes to beating games like this, so I can't be too harsh even if I tried. Because despite what this game lacks, it is still not something that I found to be terrible to play.

I can only hope that the sequel improves on certain aspects of this game, mainly the difficulty.

Well, I thought the magnet idea was fun but this isn't really a game as it's over far too fast. The reader finds the conclusion simply by clicking the links randomly so I would definitely say that this game needs to be developed a lot more

I like how you used the aspect of items in it.

Everything that I could write here has been written long before I found this site. Everything just oozed lazy. It was laughably easy to escape the room.

I have never made a game, but I’m working on one. This would not be a role model for mine, Way too short, like only 4 options short, not enough options obviously, not even confusing (Some like it that way) Not even enough pages.

I mean the game mechanically speaking works fine, but honestly it’s so short I don’t see why it’s worth playing. I finished it in under 2 minutes I’d like to see more.

The premise of the game was very simple and straightforward yet there could’ve been multiple rooms to escape than just one. Also the puzzles were too easy it was just a matter of clicking the correct links to get what you need or process of elimination in other words.

If more effort was put into making this a longer game with more comprehensive thinking involved it would be better.

Yeah no. Not a fan it was simple and easy. There also was no real reason to get invested. Just click buttons till you win woo -_-

I'm sorry, but it was very easy to figure out and hardly counts as an escape room story. Don't take this the wrong way, but it needed a lot more mystery and i'm sure you can do better. It was very short which I was disappointed in. You usually get more absorbed in a story as time ticks on and this is speaking from experience. My advice to you is to use this as a template, and try to improve it if you want to. You can come to me or someone more experienced on this site if you want feedback before you publish it. :D

I would guess that this game was used by you to learn how to use the advanced editor and items in your storygames.

The idea is good. I do like escape rooms. Even been in a few myself, but this one was so short and easy. A little more effort would have been great. I have not played the sequel yet but i think putting them all in the same game would have been a good idea I think.

Well everything works like it is intended to so I think if you do another escape room game. Maybe a little longer and more challenging it would become great.

This is a very poor game, not at all spell checked. The game has nothing at all interesting about it--no narrative, no interesting description.

Even the message at the end says "Cangragulations."

You should really put more work into what you start. You ate only doing this... I honestly don't know why. O well...

I do love a good puzzle game, but... Dear lord, that was the easiest "puzzle" I've ever seen.

Apologies for spoilers, but the game can be summed up with; Oh dear... I need a code to open the safe. Hey, what's this? ... Oh look! A code! Now I need a key to open the door... Oh look, a key! Done.

I don't really mind puzzle games being short, or even having no plot or characters, but the one thing a puzzle game does need is... Well... Puzzles. If all you're doing is literally picking up a key and then using the key to unlock the door, that is NOT a puzzle. If a game doesn't require a single brain-cell to complete, it's not much of a puzzle game.

Doubt you're still around, since this game was made over 10 years ago, but if you ever do make a puzzle game again... Can you please put some puzzles in it? ^_^

This game had no point to it and was way too easy. Impossible to lloseand could be won by a first grader.

Really good. I see you worked in using items in the game. I thought it was a great first puzzle. Each area had a purpose and you had an inventory.

Very short, simple and only one ending. But if there was a little more detail, and it was longer, it would make a good story game.

Good concept, however poorly executed story.

That's very short story for an escape room...
Real escape room have more riddles, clues and some action.
I would really like if this escape room will be longer and with some death traps if can added (and some safety equipment)

I like to think of this as the foundation of an interactive puzzle game. It's easy to find your way around, the items are there and actually make sense, and there's a sense of progress. Yes, it's very simple and short, but it's playable. It's more than I can say for some other puzzle games on here which try to be too complicated and end up being far less enjoyable.

Hmm. I don't think the length was a problem, fairly short can be just fine. But this wasn't logic at all, it was doing things in a certain order. Like the code- was it really just handed to us? What about figuring it out for ourselves? Let's hope the sequel improves a bit. This is a good start. Could be much better.

Decent for the length expectancy. Although multiple endings would've been more enjoyable. Not really challenging but having to go through certian rooms to get the items brought more to the story.

Easy to play (took me about 45 seconds). Loved the idea and I understand this would have probably been your first game with the advanced editor so you wanted to keep it simple. Looking forward to playing the sequel.

This was weird, I felt that there was no point in using advanced editor if the items were automatically used a a certain page. I felt the could have used more background. I feel like this story could be a piece of a great story game. So, I will rate it a 3/8

For a storygame under the mystefy/puzzle category, this was not much of a puzzle. It did involve clicking through links, collecting items, and solving a puzzle of sorts, but it did not require much mental ability in order to escale the room. Additionally, it was very short.

hmmmm . . . not entirely sure what the point was. I've seen a lot of games like this where you have to do almost a synchronized pattern to get it to work. But the fact that this was so short really made it seem fruitless. "Escape the room" -- that's it? There's just not a lot of purpose to go make a game that five pages long and say "wait for the next one". Really small games like that just don't carry the oomph that any writer wants. Next time, not only lengthen the game itself, but try to just make more of a point to the story. I will say that the title was what made me check this out -- what you wrote in the summary was actually very gripping to me. You've got a great story here, some really great potential. With time and practice, you could be knocking out some really great stuff. Good luck

It wasn't hard by any means. Simply click a link and it tells you what to do.

There is actually no possible way to lose, unless you lose patience in the 30 seconds it takes to finish playing this game. It feels less like a puzzle and more like a new storygame writer's experiment with advanced editor scripting. The descriptions were bare and the puzzle was very linear.

That being said, the game, for what little of it there was, worked smoothly and had no dead ends. Props for that.

It'll probably take about the same amount of time to read this comment as it would to play the game, so if you're bored out of your skull and looking for a diversion, I guess, why not?

Other than that, there was really no point to this game.

Eh. Could have been better if you'd have made it more complex. I figured it out in 15 seconds. Still, it was fairly well made. No dead ends that I noticed, no item problems, and no random crap thrown into everything.

Maybe you should have more of a background story. It's alright, but its boring if the only objective is to "get out" when you don't even know why you are in there in the first place.

I personally agree that this puzzle/game story is really easy to beat. There's not much detail and maybe add a backstory of why the person is there to begin with. Nice story for a first time.

This game was simple yet easy. I would have liked if you had a picture of an all red room and maybe even the objects have pictures but other than that it was okay.

Welllllll...it's not HORRIBLE, but it's not great, either. It's pretty short, and you're going to need to use better pictures. Way too easy to solve. It's fine if you're just getting the feel for it...

Sorry. Too short, and with only four things to do, you could win by clicking everything over and over. It was pretty obvious on what to do, ex.
Chair- Something behind it looks metallic.
Go somewhere else, you find a magnet! Pretty convienient.
In the future, try to make the items more ordinary.
Ex. A tsunami is coming your way. Instead of using a jet pack in the sand, you can enter a house. You know, something realistic. Keep it real.

That was pretty fun. If you gave more description, added item pictures, and combined Episode 1 and 2 together you'd have a great story.

Uniqe. If you are reading this then I suggest makeing the game have a second chapter. That makes it so there isn't 500 games with one plot. One long game is better than 10 short ones. It is different with September the 14th because it is way to long to play in one sitting and people don't want to wait to play all 10 at the same time and be bored after number 3.

nice use of the advanced editor. very much a beginner deduction concept but unique none the less. i hope to see more from you in the future.
