So it's my one year anniversary of joining this site and it's been a great year of reading, writing and talking to great people.  I'm practically a baby in terms of years on this site while some people have been members on this site longer than some of the newer site members have been alive... so I was wondering how long have people been on the site and who's been around the longest?

It'd be interesting to do a Site Census of active members so if I'm still around in a year I can see if the site's become more or less popular :D

I have two years worth of CYS experience as a member and a little more as a guest. It's been a good two years, though - seen lots of people come and go, though I do like the current active members a lot. :P Then again I've never really hated anyone. 

I've been around for about four and a half years now. God, I'm getting old.

16 months.

I've been here roughly a year and a half now. Of course, for most of that I haven't actually spent a lot of time on the site do to school work. But in reality i've been stocking the site for about two or more years now without an account. The site has helped through many a boring school day.

Since 2006, but I was inactive for several years in the middle.

A year and 2 months or so as a member. Stumbled upon this site five years ago though as a guest. Despite all that however, this site seems to never age. A peaceful little corner of the internet if you will.

Oh, and thank god WC stories are banned now. A much needed positive change.

Implied that I felt like this site never changes. I could have used a better word than age however.

A peaceful little corner of the internet if you will. 

I love this site. It's a good way for me to be productive and there's never been much drama here besides the WC she-bang.

The site is was plagued by horrid low quality stories that buried many of the better gems in illiteracy. The forums were always arguing with or against them, etc. It's nice and quiet now that they're gone and I can actually look at the new storygames category and expect something different.

Definitely didn't think I would need to analyze my original post for you though. Don't know what was your point. :P

I have been here as a member for about 8 months. I was a guest and read stories for a while before that though.

I've been here since 6/19/2014. I believe that to be around 1 year, 4 months, and 14 days.

Feels like longer.

Approximately 4 months. Visited as a guest for a day before creating my account.

Little bit more than 2 years. Was a guest about 2 years before that.

I guest'd for a couple of months before making this account though.

If you check my original account, you'll see that I've been a site member since February 2nd, 2014, which means that I'm about three months from my 2nd anniversary.

5 whole years, going on 6, starting from senior year in high school to now.

Well I've been lurking forever, but my account has been up... I think 3-4 months? I haven't really been counting. 

I made my first account for this website on July 30, 2013 (this one is not it), but I discovered this website and was only a guest for about three months before that. 

Ever since I made my first one: Two years, four months, two weeks, one day.

Almost a year wow .-.

It's been a great year too and I've met so many fun people and discovered so many things about the history of this site.

Since 5/8/2015, so... wow, really recently. :\ 

I guess that means I've been around for about seven months. So much has happened, though...

I don't know. I'm sure there's plenty of diversity between "Sandwiches and Righteous Asskicking", "Fallout and Dominatrixes", "Capybaras and Internet Rage", "Drugs and Lying", "Bacon and Bacon", "Chimichangas and Child-burning", "Left Boob and Right Boob", etc.

So true. If I made games based on my most favorite things, hoo...

And a lot of sadistic and disturbing ones too... Maybe I shouldn't have said that... *Jumps out of window.*

I'm very surprised I've been here longer than you, but I suppose it's been a year and a half for me.

I been here almost a year.

Nearly 8 years I believe though only active for about half of that 

Looks like over 3 years on this account and it was a year before that as a guest just reading stories etc. before joining the forum and finally starting on my own.

Which is very weird as it seems too long and too short, I remember things right from the start that I joined in the forum games area that I could have sworn was only a year ago when it was three but it kind of feels like I have been logging in here forever.

I'm running on about 2 and a half years here, and considering how long I've been a member I have so much unfinished work to do. I really just haven't had the time or motivation to do much here -.-
