I hope you guys have a better 4th of July than me. :) My mom’s whole side of the family was supposed to have a family reunion this week. We were going to go tubing and watch fireworks. Our relatives have this house in the middle of the woods, so the kids were going to camp in the woods while the adults got to sleep inside the house. We were going to see our cousins that we haven't seen in two years or however long it’s been since covid started. It was going to be amazing and I was really looking forward to it.
And then my mom got Covid three or four days ago, so we have to stay home and be quarantined from everyone else. We can’t go anywhere, and we’re stuck with my dad who doesn’t know how to cook so I’ve pretty much been eating instant ramen for dinner every night. He also is always gone all day so I’m left to keep my brother busy. The A.C in our house is broken so it’s 80 in here right now even though it’s only 9:00 in the morning. It typically gets to about 87-90 in the afternoons in our house, so it’s normally cooler outside than it is in here. To top it all off, I have a contest entry that is due tonight that I am nowhere near finished with and that I really don’t want to work on.
Sorry for complaining about all this to you, I'm running on very little sleep.
