It's time to find out who are the real freaks. (I didn't realize the png would be so big and idk how to shrink it)

Normal Human Bingo

It wasn't even a real image that could be resized, but many thousands of characters of that base64 nonsense.

Worry not though, we mods are used to your failures. I have fixed everything.

Coding is a talent. (unless the intent is to beat yourself up because you're an emo fag who's into that. In which case, carry on.)

Still won't give you a bingo though.

It's about as much of a talent as speaking a different language. Unless you learned to do it in a week or speak 10 of them it's not really a talent in my eyes.

Bruh, why don't you know how to put chicken into a pan and leave it an oven for a while? I was going to go off on Stargirl for that, but you're a grown ass man.

Normal Human Bingo

I do, bruh. I am capable of surviving on my own without anyone else feeding me.

I assumed that the requirements for "knows how to cook" were a bit stricter than "knows how to boil an egg, make a sandwich or a pizza, and occasionally make a wiener snitzel".

Normal Human Bingo

I think that as long as you can provide yourself home-cooked food of a quality and variety which you would be comfortable with eating long-term in a situation where nobody else cooked for you and you were not buying pre-made food, you're good. Most normal people haven't been to culinary school or anything like that.

I have nullified the entire thread, this bingo board was clearly made by an autist.

We did this one a long while ago on discord where I also ended up as one of the most normal people, mostly thanks to having a girlfriend:

Normal Human Bingo

Trying to copy all that to see how many characters it was literally made my phone spaz out and return to the lockscreen after going dark a moment.

Normal Human Bingo

I assume what happened was that you were helpful and edited the post... but which mod added the rest?

Normal Human Bingo

He did not. He just opened it and then closed it again in confusion and despair.

To repair the OP, I had to clip the pretend image manually, upload it to img box, then struggle to clear away the 1.2 million characters of existing gibberish my browser could barely highlight without freezing, insert the new link and resize.

Then she expected me to do it again.

Normal Human Bingo

Ford has already added a fix to break posts that try to do this from now on anyway, just waiting on Nightwatch to approve it.

Darius posted a thread in Adv. Editor Forum a while ago that tells you how to do this. I've been using it ever since and it's been fine (other than the base64 thing), but recently my Word subscription ended and I've been using Word Online, which doesn't allow me to resize the image for some reason, thus the hella big image.

Normal Human Bingo

"Other than the little thing where it hangs up the thread and freezes browsers and forces code changes to prevent it, it's been great! No reason to use a normal image tag!"

"Definitely no way to resize images without a word processing program either, I know this because I'm an artist, anyway the mods will figure it out, teehee"

Okay but seriously, this has been brought up as an issue before as recently as when you guys were doing it in the Secret Hitler thread. Base64 is disgusting, unclean, and if people were dumping thread breaking amounts of gibberish into their posts in any other context and then going "mods, you know what to do", there'd be bans handed out.

Just a note we're gonna start blanket deleting any base64 shit when we see it. I don't know what terrible thing some of you (Suranna) are doing wrong, but this is hardly the first time it's been pointed out. And it doesn't seem that difficult to take a little peek at your post and go, "whoops, it's actually a .bin, and this contains 1,200,000 characters more than one would usually expect from an image link?" ffs

Normal Human Bingo

I think that "play an instrument" should be switched with "knows how to cook", based on the exchanges in this thread. Knowing how to play one is already a talent technically.

I wouldnt really say im happy or unhappy. I dont really consider my happiness that much when making decisions. I consider it pretty irrelevant as long as my reality isnt unbearable. I mostly just care about accomplishing my targets.

The state of my room is also fluctuating, one day its clean and the other....maybe not! Just depends. Overall its passable though.

Normal Human Bingo

Why do you not know how to cook?

Normal Human Bingo

Inexcusable. Any semi-functional adult should know how to cook at least basic things.

Normal Human Bingo

I also can't drive.

Normal Human Bingo

This is significantly less egregious than not knowing how to cook. Basically normal, honestly. I know tons of people 21+ who still can't drive.

Normal Human Bingo

Driving just isn't economical for me, I'm young with no dependants, and im going to take full advantage of it, so me at 30 will be thankful - part of that is a refusal to drive a car, due to how expensive it is in comparison to my electric bike. My stomach churns when people I work with tell me about their cars breaking down, or how much they spend on them.

Normal Human Bingo

Again, pretty normal. If I lived somewhere with actual sidewalks and didn't have to literally walk on the side of the highway or in the grass (yay American infrastructure) or we had a reasonable bus system... I'd walk or take the bus. Because true, it's crazy how much just gas costs.

Tl;dr choosing not to drive isn't shameful, but we are absolutely judging you for not knowing a basic life skill.

Normal Human Bingo

I'd definitely consider ballet a sport btw, it's very physically demanding and requires a lot of skill to do it right. Guess it just depends if there's competition or not though, or how you define it.

Normal Human Bingo

It's shameful I know. I could try and come up with excuses, but in reality it's just never been convenient enough for me to learn. My dad always cooked my meals growing up, and I work full time, so when I get home I prefer eating right away, without having to spend time cooking, otherwise id have no day, and at work I just eat ready made meals.

Normal Human Bingo

Dude. Just take one of your days off and spend an hour or two preping and cooking your meals for the week.  Used to do this all the time when I had a horrible schedule. Then you can eat instantly when you get home without having to cook. And/or get a slow cooker. It's way better than only eating ready made meals like an incompetent retard.

Normal Human Bingo

Even this is really unnecessary, it takes like 20 minutes to make a large selection of meat-veggie-starch combinations. Less time than sitting in a line at the drivethru in a lot of cases.

This really makes me want to make that cooking poll again though whenever I get through this IRL stuff. And here I thought detoxing from reddit would free me of the "applying heat to food for the first time and I'm scared, p.s. what is salt?" portion of the internet.

Normal Human Bingo

This is real. Even if you don’t necessarily cook everything all at once, or don’t want to eat the same thing every day, it really helps to prep stuff raw and throw it all together. Like, for example, I love tofu but only when I cook it the same day cause I don’t like it “sitting”. So I’ll press and cut it up and throw it in the fridge w whatever marinade situation and then when I get home throw it in a pan. Like 15 mins tops if you take the prep out. Same with vegetables.

My ultimate can’t be assed and I did no prep work earlier is eggs over rice and some sort of frozen vegetable with sriracha and furikake seasoning. Not sure if that counts as real cooking lol but it feels like a complete meal especially if you just need something hot. I also make a lot of chicken or tuna salad earlier in the week which is also arguably not “cooking” but it works for a quick lunch.

Roasting vegetables is also the vibe cause you can really just throw that shit on a pan and throw it in the oven and go like … take a shower or clean or some other task while you wait. And tastes way better than steamed or boiled !!

There's also so many things you can buy that are already washed and cut up for you if you're willing to pay a little extra... which is the price of convenience.

Doesn’t have to be hard or time consuming or even expensive, just need to think ahead a little!

Normal Human Bingo

Here's a recipe for you:

1) Take a zucchini and a tomato and hack then up. Doesn't have to be pretty. Add salt and a drizzle of olive oil, throw them in a hot oven.
2) while they're in there, put garlic powder, salt, and paprika on chicken thighs. Put them in a pan on top of the stove. Turn the fire on.
3) go change clothes or play with your phone or whatever, come back in a few minutes and flip them to cook the other side. The veggies are done when they're tender but a little extra crisping on the edges doesn't hurt.
4) add garlic toast or mix up a pack of instant potatoes or something.

5) do some variation of this the rest of the week. The chicken can also be cooked in the oven, or the veggies can be cooked in a pan. Try different kinds of veggies. You can cook the chicken first and then use the fat to cook other things. Switch out the bread or potatoes for noodles or rice, try different sauces or seasonings. Put beans on the side instead. Combine your usual ingredients into a soup.

There's a huge number of meal varieties right there that all use the same "apply heat to a handful of basic ingredients, add seasoning" technique.

Really hard to go wrong with chicken thighs, they are very cheap, go with a ton of different things, and they're very forgiving to being overcooked or reheated.

Normal Human Bingo

How many times have you posted on reddit asking how to boil rice?

Normal Human Bingo

You can literally throw ground beef in a pan with some olive oil or butter, season it, and wait until all of it is well browned. Takes like 20 minutes, tops. At the same time, you can boil some water in a pot, throw in some salt, add pasta, and wait 11 minutes or whatever (depends on type of pasta). Drain it, add some olive oil here too. That's a very healthy meal of whole foods. While the things are cooking, you can wash vegetables and fruits of your choosing.

My parents always cooked for me growing up, but once I moved out, I learned how to cook for myself. I work part time and am a full time student in a very strenuous program, plus I hit the gym at least 3 times a week and play tennis at a semi-pro level. This means that my free time during the semester is mostly spent on drinking or drugs, but I still manage to find time to cook for myself. If you truly don't have time, then you can meal prep burritos, or chicken and veg like mizal suggested. It takes at most two hours of your Sunday and you can have food for a week. I seriously recommend burritos, because I can freeze them and they taste pretty much the same after a few minutes in a microwave, plus they're packed with calories and also easy to make.

I assume in the UK that if your friends aren't getting trashed and forming a mob to drag immigrants out of cars, those are your only other options anyway.

Normal Human Bingo

I think you and end should both be commended for these comments, personally. Tensions are definitely crazy high in the UK right now. People here generally get along I'd say, but overall most stick to their own. In that, the black kids chill with the black kids, and the Muslims with the Muslims. If you go anywhere in the UK it's generally not mixed neighborhoods, it's either "this is where lots of Muslims live" And so on. I think that's what creates the tension. If you go to a lot of places in London theres entire streets where you won't see one English word on the shops.

Normal Human Bingo

Never heard of adding oil to hamburger meat really, it's full of grease already.

But yes, burritos gud. And hell at absolute lowest cooking level possible, heating up a can of beans and adding them with shredded cheese and jalapenos or whatever to a tortilla is still better than fast food or most frozen meals.

Normal Human Bingo

I just need more calories so I add butter and oil to pretty much everything. I think it's fine because I don't eat fast food more than one meal per week.

Normal Human Bingo

How come you're trying to bulk when youre a tennis player? I used to think i needed to eat lots of calories to gain muscle, but now i dont really care that much about my calories, i care more about what constitutes the calories, if i ate 3000 calories of oreos and vegetable oil, ill just get fat and gain no muscle irrespective of how hard i train. I'm naturally very lean (my body is allergic to bodyfat) so me "bulked" is me at 12% bodyfat lol.

Normal Human Bingo

Most of my life, I have played tennis, and I'm also naturally very lean. When I went to high school I was sick and tired of being called a stickbug and all that shit, so I started working out sophomore year. Unfortunately, I continued to not eat enough, and I didn't train hard enough, so I made little progress. Since going to college I spent a lot of time researching exercises, I have learned to push myself to near death on all my workouts, and I've also prioritized eating 150+ grams of protein per day as part of my 3500 calorie goal. I'm fairly shredded now, but I want to be even more jacked. So I'm bulking for my own personal satisfaction really, but it also helps my tennis game because I can hit the everloving shit out of the ball, and man is it fun. I don't neglect cardio and stretching, of course.
